We are delighted to be involved in the Open Camping Village again this year. Although we haven’t brought our cabooses with us this time, Caboose & Co have been enlisted with ensuring the smooth operation of the village – a task we are proud to take on. We have been a part of The Open Camping Village for the last 3 years and are so excited to have been asked to help out again.
The Open Camping Village, running from 15-22 July, is offering 1250 spaces this year, each with self-inflating sleeping mats to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. All the tents are pre-erected and the village is conveniently located just a 15 minute walk from the main event.
The village features a Clubhouse which has quality food and drinks available throughout the day. You can get a cooked breakfast, a quick bite or a healthy snack from 6am each morning, and there are several meal options available each evening. The Clubhouse also has a bar that is open every afternoon and evening and features live bands, pub quizzes and other entertainment throughout the week. The Open Camping Village offers high quality shower and toilet block facilities which are situated throughout the campsite.
As if all of the above wasn’t enough, there is also a dedicated family area available for parents and children who would prefer the quieter end of the campsite (limited availability), football pitches and other games available for campers to use, and last but by no means least, a Pamper Tent where campers can find mirrors and power sockets for their hair dryers/straighteners/curlers.
To top this all off, 16-24 year old ticket holders stay FREE, with adult prices from just £40 per night. Come and enjoy the fun!
