Caboose & Co., pop-up accommodation specialists, will showcase two new prototypes being added to their extensive sales and rental fleet at The Event Production Show, Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre from 26th – 27th of May.
Following the launch of its’ revolutionary fold-away, aluminum and fiberglass ‘Maverick’ glamping pod, the company has further developed the product as a direct response to COVID-safety requirements necessary to swiftly aid the return of live events and festivals. The Maverick ‘Hard Deck’ now comes with an elevated platform that connects neatly on top of the Maverick pod, providing a railed, viewing position ideal for watching outdoor gigs, cinema screenings or even to facilitate al fresco private dining experiences.
The second prototype making its’ debut at the Event Production Show will be ‘The Goose’, a new transportable office designed to be used on greenfield event sites or for personal use at home, as a security position, commentary or broadcast box. An altogether taller product, ‘The Goose’ stands at 225cm (l) x 180cm (w) x 222cm (h).
Managing director Tom Critchley says, “After the last year it is clear that even with the return of live events, the health and safety parameters within which they need to operate may have forever been altered. Our new products reflect a new emerging events landscape; they are designed to not only help our sector bounce back as quickly as possible by enabling social distancing for large crowds, but also simultaneously cater to the long-term, growing demand of durable pop-up accommodation that can easily be deployed and run off-grid. Through these new additions to our offering, we look forward to playing our small part in the safe return of large-scale events as we remember, driving business growth once again after a challenging year.”
